Finnvera's Start Guarantee assists newly launched Finnish SMEs and registered private entrepreneurs in obtaining bank financing by guaranteeing up to 80% of promissory note credits. Applications are submitted directly through participating banks.

Who can apply to Start Guarantee?

Start Guarantee is aimed at startups at these stages: Pre-seed, Seed, and Series A. Eligible locations: Finland. The company must be incorporated in Finland. Other requirements: Maximum 3 years since entry into the Trade Register; Owned by private individuals; Credit rating of company and responsible persons must be in order.

When is the Start Guarantee deadline?

Start Guarantee takes applications on a rolling basis, so there is no fixed deadline.
