How the numbers were made
The source sheet's monthly tabs hold 8,419 rows with data. Removing 432 duplicates leaves 7,987 rounds, from April 1 to September 12, 2026.
Two rows count as one round when:
- They share the company's website and their dates are within 7 days of each other. The first amount is kept.
- They share the website and the amount within 180 days: the same round listed again.
- They share the company name on different websites within 7 days, with amounts within 1.5 times of each other.
- Dates are announcement dates, and each round counts in the month of its deal date, not in the month of the tab that lists it.
- Amounts are in US dollars, as announced.
- Only facts are shown: company, date, amount, industry and website. The sheet's company descriptions are not republished.
- Sectors come from mapping the sheet's industry labels onto getfund's sector list, so a round can count in more than one.
