Finnvera's SME Guarantee provides up to 80% guarantee coverage (up to 200,000 EUR per guarantee) for Finnish SME bank loans used for investments, working capital, or product development. Applications are submitted directly by partner banks on behalf of the business.

Who can apply to SME Guarantee?

SME Guarantee is aimed at startups at these stages: Seed, Series A, and Series B and later. Eligible locations: Finland. The company must be incorporated in Finland. Other requirements: More than 3 years old from first Trade Register registration; Min Rating Alfa classification of A; At least 50% owned by private individuals.

When is the SME Guarantee deadline?

SME Guarantee takes applications on a rolling basis, so there is no fixed deadline.
