“Most funded” lists often count debt, acquisitions and corporate deals as rounds. We checked the largest biotech rounds announced from April 1 to September 12, 2026 one by one. Below you will find 10 rounds, their lead investors and their sources; at the end, Europe, Turkey and the investors that appear in more than one of these rounds.
Why this list is different
Of the 45 largest health deals, only 15 were startup rounds. The rest: 15 debt, 10 other (corporate deals with buyout options, SPAC mergers, revenue-share financing), 4 acquisitions and PE, 1 unverified.
Method
Biotech startup rounds announced from April 1 to September 12, 2026, ranked by announced amount. Every round was checked against a company or press announcement. Digital health companies are in a separate list. Debt, acquisitions, PE deals, IPOs and SPAC mergers, corporate deals with buyout options and revenue-share financing are left out.
